My job just made me cry. That is just so wrong on so many levels that it makes me tired to think about it. One more year, and I will never take on anything like this ever again. One more year.

Any time anyone does something to stress you out, tell them that stress is not good for a pregnant woman and they need to cut it out right now. I actually did this a few times. I said it in a joking way, but it made me feel better to tell people to back off. (Of course, your job should not be making you cry anyway. Bad job - to the dunce corner with you!)

I'd give anything to work in an office, where people would just KNOW - unfortunately, I work from home, and so most of my clients and co-workers have no idea I'm pregnant.

Then again, that has its advantages - I'm over a decade younger (yes! at 31! such is my work life!) than anyone else on my project except my secretary, so being pregnant feels almost unprofessional - I think I remind them all of their own children, or something. Sigh. It's hard enough getting them to listen to me without the visible reminder that I am (a) young and (b) female...
